This qualification reflects the role of individuals who perform a broad range of tasks when repairing and maintaining the body of cars, heavy vehicles and other vehicles in the automotive service and repair sector.

International students will have the opportunity to complete the program on campus through practical training and assessment and on-the-job placements.

Opportunity exists for 18-month post-study work visa. This makes the student job-ready.

Course Overview

Students will develop a range of skills through practical and hands-on work in a simulated workplace environment. They will have the opportunity to learn methods to repair vehicle body components, frame and chassis and repair structural damage.

Students will learn about:

• Workplace safety in an automotive workplace
• Identifying automotive faults
• Removing and replacing vehicle body panels and components
• Repairing vehicle frames and chassis
• Repairing and replacing structural damage
