The Associate of Arts Degree in Music is designed to provide a broad educational experience that prepares students for further study in the field of music and the arts. This degree does not include private music lessons (e.g. MUSI 1105, 1155, 1156, 1157, etc.)
Prospective music students will be invited to attend an information session where program content and application procedures will be explained.
Intakes for this program have been postponed indefinitely.
Curricular Requirements
Within the framework of the Associate of Arts Degree students are required to complete at least 32 credits of MUSI courses at the 1100- and 2000-level, with a minimum grade of C in each course.

You have graduated high school (secondary school) OR completed 24+ credits of undergraduate-level credits with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.
English Proficiency Requirements
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic Test: overall band of 6.5 or higher, with a minimum 6.0 in each band, taken within the last two years from the term of admission
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): IBT 88 or higher, with no sub score less than 20, taken within the last two years from the term of admission
Canadian Academic English Language Assessment (CAEL): Score of 70 or higher with no sub score less than 60, taken within the last two years from the term of admission
Pearson Test of English (PTE): Score of 61 or higher, taken within the last two years from the term of admission
Language Proficiency Index (LPI): Level 5 with an essay score of 30 or higher, taken within the last two years from the term of admission.
