Что я буду изучать?

History communicates a profound understanding of how our world came into being.

At Laurier, we study ordinary and exceptional people living in many different places and conditions, from the ancient past to modern times.

Program Highlights

Many classes, including first-year courses, have small weekly tutorials.

There are no required courses in the program; you can work in the areas of history that interest you most.

Study abroad as part of your coursework by taking travel courses, such as the War and Memory summer course, where you'll visit memorials and battlefields across Europe.

Our program is divided into thematic "Tracks": Social Issues and Globalization; Politics, Power and Law; Culture; The Arts and Society; and Peace and War Studies.

We're home of the Faculty of Arts’ Applied Digital Option, in which you'll learn to use programs and apps to carry out research, create and edit documentary films, publish open source texts, and build websites.
