Enhance your Durham College GAS Certificate, and your thinking into the Canadian legal system, in this general arts and science transfer program.Our program explores and critically analyzes criminological and sociological theories of why people commit crimes. It also examines how societies define crime and who is considered a criminal. This program approaches the study of crime from an interdisciplinary perspective, drawing on a rich tradition from criminology, sociology, philosophy, psychology and law. Вступительные требования

Students who have successfully completed a General Arts and Science Certificate - UOIT Liberal Arts Transfer/University Transfer option at Durham College may apply for direct admission into the second year of the Criminology and Justice program. Eligible applicants must achieve a minimum grade of 70 per cent in each prerequisite course at college with an overall average of 77 per cent or higher.

Entry requirements may vary from country to country. Students are required to complete international academic qualification equivalent to Canada Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).

English language requirement:

IELTS: Overall score of 6.5 with no sub-score less than 6.0 (Education and Nursing programs require an overall score of 7.0).

TOEFL: Internet-based test (iBT) with a total score of 83 (Education and Nursing programs require a total score of 87), and minimum scaled scores of Listening: 20; Reading: 20; Speaking: 19; and Writing: 20

Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: Minimum score of 58.

Cambridge English - Advanced: Minimum score of 180 with no band lower than 170.
