The interdisciplinary BISc. program at University of New Brunswick Saint John draws upon business administration, mathematics, computer science and economics, with a focus on the methods and techniques for effective collection and analysis of data.

You can choose a specialization which will allow you to concentrate on your areas of interest and application.

High school students applying to undergraduate programs at the University of New Brunswick. USA: General Certificate of Secondary Education with grades of A or B. Applicants who have completed Grade 12 of an accredited high school program must satisfy UNB's minimum program-specific requirements (minimum B average). Criteria such as academic standing, rank in class and SAT scores may also be used to determine a candidates admissibility. ACT scores are not required. International students require the following English language proficiency minimum scores for direct entry into most academic programs: IELTS 6.5, TOEFL iBT 85, CAEL 60, or Pearson Vue Test 59.

Students must complete high school for admission to the University of New Brunswick. They must complete six specific high school courses, according to their program of choice. UNB takes the overall average of the high school grades achieved in these six courses to calculate the student’s "minimum admission average", which is used to determine admissibility.

Course requirements:

Senior English Literature (60% or higher)

Senior Math, including Pre-Calculus (65% or higher)

1 other academic maths

2 electives from group 1 (60% or higher)

1 elective from group 1 or 2 (60% or higher)

Minimum admission average: 75%
