Что я буду изучать?

The new Client Service Specialist Certificate (CSSC) is a distinctive program MITT has developed in partnership with the Manitoba Tourism Education Council (MTEC). Although students will receive the MITT credential upon successful completion, the nine months of occupational specific, career development and technical courses are delivered by MTEC in a classroom located in MTEC’s facility. At the end of the program, MTEC will connect students with their numerous employer contacts for a one-month, unpaid work practicum.

Upon graduation, students will receive a MITT certificate and will be equipped with the transferable skills required for front-line employment in multiple industry-sectors. Students will also have the opportunity to receive the following industry recognized certificates in various courses and workshops throughout the CSSC program:

  • Microsoft Office Specialist Certificate
  • Emergency First Aid Level C and Level 1 AED
  • Winnipeg Ambassador
  • Handling Difficult Situations
  • WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials and Information Systems)
  • This program held at MTEC’s facility also includes:
  • 3.5 hours of class time per day (Monday-Friday) for non-work practicum courses
  • Industry experienced instructors
  • Field trips and guest speakers
  • Free parking
  • Complimentary coffee, tea, water (daily basis)

All documentation will be provided by MITT to eligible applicants/students.

MITT will confirm the student cohort (morning/afternoon) after the letter of acceptance has been issued and tuition deposit received. Applicants who choose the evening cohort in their online application will automatically be placed in that timeslot.

Who it is for:

Students (18 years and older) who enjoy being the client’s first point of contact of a fast-paced, team-oriented organization. These individuals can implement a variety of transferable skills (i.e. communication) to provide outstanding customers service to new and repeat clients.

Continuous Program Improvement:

MITT continuously reviews and improves programs to maintain relevance in the workplace and effective learning experiences for all students. Although the institution strives to have the website reflect the most current version of all programs, MITT reserves the right to change the program curriculum as necessary to meet industry and accreditation requirements. As a result, course information and learning outcomes may be adjusted prior to the scheduled course start date.
