Что я буду изучать?

Theory and comprehensive hands-on projects ensure Electrical Applications students gain the knowledge and skills necessary to install, operate, troubleshoot, service and repair electrical equipment in residential, commercial and industrial settings. Motors, generators, transformers, electrical systems, and a wide variety of control equipment are among the many topics covered during the program, and graduates who meet specific criteria can earn credit toward Apprenticeship Manitoba Level 1 and 2.

Participation in MITT’s Work Skills Series workshops provides students a foundation in employability and essential skills to help them transition seamlessly from classroom to career and excel as professionals.

Individuals who enjoy working with their hands, are meticulous and organized, have the strength and stamina for physical labour, and can work independently or as part of a team to deliver outstanding service to a customer.

Continuous Program Improvement:

MITT continuously reviews and improves programs to maintain relevance in the workplace and effective learning experiences for all students. Although the institution strives to have the website reflect the most current version of all programs, MITT reserves the right to change the program curriculum as necessary to meet industry and accreditation requirements. High school diploma (or expected completion within 45 days of the program start date), or equivalent. International applicants must meet the general entrance requirements [PDF] based on country/curriculum of study. Applicants must also meet the program-specific requirements, including: Senior Level Math*, or equivalent; Senior Level Biology*, or equivalent; Senior Level Chemistry*, or equivalent; and Senior Level English Language Arts*, or equivalent. A minimum equivalent grade of no less than 60% is required in each of these senior level courses.

  • CAEL CE & CAEL Online (Canadian Academic English Assessment): 60
  • Cambridge English Advanced Certificate (C1): Scale Score of 180 / Grade of C
  • CanTEST (Canadian Test of English for Scholars and Trainees): 4.0 in all components
  • MELAB (Michigan English Language Assessment Battery): 80
  • Revised TOEFL Paper Delivered Test: 17 in Reading, Writing and Listening
