First semester prepares participants for provincial testing by the TSSA for Gas Technician 3 (G3) certification.

Graduates are eligible to write the exemption test for the Level 1 in-school curriculum of the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic - Branch 1 (313A) apprenticeship program, which is also common core for Level 1 Residential Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic - Branch 2 (313D).
