Through the Electromechanical Engineering Technician - Automation and Robotics program, you'll gain the knowledge to build a rewarding career in the automation and robotics field. This college diploma program will focus on automated systems, which are at the heart of virtually all advanced manufacturing and other industry sectors.The engineering program's courses will be comprehensive and emphasize the basic technology used in building and operating automated industrial systems: programmable logic controllers (PLCs), hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics and robotics. Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, or mature student status (19 years or older)
Grade 12 English (C or U), or equivalent (minimum grade required), or take the Centennial English Admission Test.
Grade 11 Mathematics (M or U) or Grade 12 Mathematics (C or U), or equivalent (minimum grade required), or take a Centennial College Engineering Math Skills Assessment for Admission

English Language Requirements:

A TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based) or 80+ (internet based with no test below 20)
IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0+ (with no single test score below 5.5)
CAEL (Canadian Academic English Language Assessment) with an overall band score of 60
Pearson Test of English (Academic) score of 51 plus
ITEP (International Test of English Proficiency) score of 3.7 plus.
