Applicants must have a university degree or a three-year college diploma from a recognized institution. English Language Requirements: TOEFL - 580 Paper-based 88+ minimums of 22 for the Internet based test; MELAB - Score of 82; IELTS - 6.5 with no band score less than 6.0. Additional English language communications clinic sessions will be required and assigned for any single band score area below 6.5. CAEL - Overall 70, Writing score 60; Pearson Test of English (Academic) - 60+; International Test of English Proficiency (iTEP) - 4.1+; Cambridge English Exams: Proficiency (CPE), Advanced (CAE), First (FCE) - 180+.

Academic Requirements

  • College diploma or university degree in any discipline
  • We will consider applicants who have successfully completed partial post-secondary education (minimum two years) and have relevant work experience

Additional Requirements

Attend a mandatory Program Admission Session where applicants will:

Submit a portfolio consisting of three writing samples completed in the last two-years; applicants without a portfolio of work can complete a one-page user guide assignment to fulfill this requirement

Complete an in person test comprised of two parts:

  • Three long-form writing exercises
  • A short answer questionnaire

English Language Requirements:

  • Minimum TOEFL score of 580 (paper-based) or TOEFL (computer-based) 88+ (with no test below 22)
  • IELTS (Academic) score of 6.5+ (with no single test score below 6.0)
  • CAEL with an overall band score of 70; writing score 60, or
  • MELAB score of 82, or
  • Pearson Test of English (Academic) score of 60 plus, or
  • ITEP ( International Test of English Proficiency) score of 4.1 plus
