This interdisciplinary applied life sciences degree-diploma combination is offered by Lakehead-Georgian. Upon completion, you will receive both an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Life Sciences from Lakehead University and the Biotechnology-Health Diploma from Georgian College.
Prepare for a career in biomedical research, forensics, diagnostic laboratories or the health sector. This degree-diploma program focuses on the study of living things from the molecular level to the organism level. The applied life sciences degree-diploma program blends theories and practices from anthropology, biology, chemistry and physics with hands-on learning through laboratory courses, application of experimental techniques and use of scientific equipment.
