The College of Pharmacy and Nutrition offers master’s (M.Sc.) degree programs in pharmaceutical sciences, and in advanced clinical and community practice. Graduate students in our College are presented with the extraordinary opportunity of creating new knowledge, advancing the field of pharmacy and becoming agents of change in improving health quality locally, nationally and internationally.

There is a wide range of potential specializations available. Current faculty areas of expertise include drug and vaccine delivery, medicinal and pharmaceutical chemistry, bio‐technology, molecular biology, nanotechnology, pharmacokinetics, clinical pharmacy, pharmacy education, pharmacoeconomics and pharmaco‐ epidemiology. The College is involved in the Interdisciplinary Toxicology Program as well.

A four-year undergraduate degree, or equivalent, from a recognized college or university in an academic discipline relevant to the proposed field of study, OR, A three-year first cycle undergraduate degree, in an academic discipline relevant to the proposed field of study, from an institution that meets the criteria set forth in the Bologna Declaration, will be acceptable as the equivalent of an undergraduate honours degree. A cumulative weighted average of at least 70% (U of S grade system equivalent) in the last two years of full-time study (e.g. 60 credit units U of S equivalent). Demonstrated ability for independent thought, advanced study, and research. TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language): Fully qualified: Overall score of 86 with minimum scores of 19 in each area; IELTS (International English Language Testing System): Fully qualified: Overall score of 6.5 with no score below 6.0 in each area; CanTEST (Canadian Test of English for Scholars and Trainees): Fully qualified: Overall score of 4.5 with minimum scores of 4.5 in each area; PTE (Pearson Test of English): Fully qualified: Overall score of 63 with minimum scores of 59 in each area; University of Regina: Intensive ESL Advanced Level (ESL 50)l Plus completion of Academic Writing Elective A - Minimum score of 60% ; U-PREP 2: University Preparation 2 from the U of S Language Centre - Minimum score of 75% ; CAEL (Canadian Academic English Language): Minimum score of 70%, with minimum individual scores of 60
