Что я буду изучать?

The Master of Applied Nutrition (MAN) program is the only one year graduate practicum program in Ontario. This unique interdisciplinary academic program prepares students to work in a practical setting by combining theory, empirical knowledge and professional skills. Accredited by the Partnership for Dietetic Education and Practice (PDEP), graduates are eligible to take the Canadian Dietetic Registration Exam to become a registered dietitian.

Program

The MAN program consists of three components:

Practicum placements

An applied independent research project

Graduate course work

EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES University of Guelph is centrally located. Many diverse dietetic placements are available within commuting distances, from small family health teams to large national organizations

Applicants must have: Four year Honours degree, or equivalent, Recognized post-secondary institution, Minimum B- average (last two years of full-time equivalent study). International English Language Testing System (Academic) (IELTS) - 6.5, Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL Internet-based test (iBT)) – 89, A minimum score of 21 must be achieved in each of the four categories (listening, speaking, reading, writing), Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE-A) 60, Canadian Academic English Language Test (CAEL) 70, Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB) 85.

  • An honors degree within the previous three years from a dietetic program accredited by PDEP
  • A minimum average of at least 75% in the last two years of their undergraduate program
  • Grades of at least 75% in applied statistics and social science research methods courses
