Что я буду изучать?

The MSc (Kinesiology) program commenced in 2005. In its history, numerous master’s students have continued on to doctoral programs. Graduate students have authored or co-authored 200+ peer-reviewed articles in that period. The laboratories are well equipped, including but not limited to, 5 data (i.e. force, EMG, range of motion) acquisition systems, 2 metabolic carts, hypoxic air generator, force platform, is kinetic dynamometer, 4 muscle stimulation units, magnetic stimulation units, immersion tank, accelerometers, lumbar motion monitor, and a variety of strain gauges among other equipment.

Graduates have moved on to a variety of professions and include university professors, physicians, lawyers, engineers, administrators, and teachers. Many graduate students have also gone on to pursue doctoral studies in a number of exciting fields. Graduate programs are offered in both full-time and part-time formats, with a number of different options available to students. School of Human Kinetics and Recreation is a small school with experts in the field who strive for student’s success; implementing strategies to ensure this success is achieved.

Other English Language Requirements accepted: The Canadian Academic English Language (CAEL) Assessment with a minimum band scores of between 50 and 60 in each of the four skills tested (Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking), with at least two band scores of 60 are the minimum requirements necessary for admission to the Marine Institute; A minimum score of at least 85 on the English Proficiency Test administered by the English Language Institute of the University of Michigan (MELAB); Canadian Test of English for Scholars and Trainees (CanTEST) with a minimum band scores of 4.5 in the listening comprehension and reading comprehension sub-tests and a score of 4 in writing are required to satisfy Marine Institute English proficiency requirements; Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB) with a minimum score of 85.

The minimum English proficiency test scores are as follows:

Duolingo (until further notice) - A score of 105 or higher.

TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition test - A score of 80 or higher.

IELTS - An average band score of 6.5 or higher on the academic test.

CAEL - A score between 50 and 60 in each of four bands, with at least 2 band scores of 60.

CanTEST - Band Level 4.5 in the listening comprehension and reading comprehension sub-tests and a score of 4 in writing.

MELAB - A score of 85% or higher.

PTE Academic - Minimum scores of 58 in each of reading, writing, listening, and speaking
