This course will provide students with the key knowledge and practical skills required in the animal management sector.

Course Overview

The Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Animal Management has been developed for individuals who have a passion for animals and are keen to further develop their knowledge of animal health, welfare, and biology.

This course provides a comprehensive understanding of animal management and will equip you with the necessary knowledge to assess the welfare needs of animals, enable you to acquire practical animal management skills and master essential study skills and husbandry techniques.

Assessment methods

You will be assessed by a mixture of assignments, set projects, presentations and some on-line assessment.

Course Progression

From the HNC you can progress onto the HND or find employment within the animal sector.
