Course Overview

The MSc in Clinical Research is an in-depth training programme which builds on the introduction to clinical research in the PgCert and the training in evidence-based medicine and specialist skills gained in the PgDip.

The programme provides an introduction to clinical research and applied methodological skills and enables you to translate research into practice. It can be taken as a one, two or three year programme.

You will develop and undertake a research project designed, delivered and submitted as a dissertation. This project is undertaken in your own professional context, under academic supervision.

Вступительные требования

Для студентов, проживающих в Соединенных Штатах

Students need to have At least 4 years Bachelor's degree with 3.3/4.0.

Для иностранных студентов

Students need to have 2:1 Hons degree (UK or equivalent) in a relevant subject including medicine, nursing, psychology, biological sciences or related subjects. Applicants with relevant professional experience and without a first degree should contact the Course Director. Students need to have an: IELTS Academic test (UKVI Approved) with an overall score of at least 6.5, with a minimum of 5.5 in each element; or IELTS Academic test (Other Centres) with an overall score of at least 6.5, with a minimum of 5.5 in each element; or Pearson PTE Academic with a score of at least 58 and a minimum of 42 in each component of the test; or ToEFL IBT with an overall score of at least 87, with a minimum of 18 in reading, 17 in listening, 17 in speaking and 20 in writing.
