It is an ideal course for students who have a classroom assistant qualification who now want to learn more abut children and their families. Students need to demonstrate they have previous experience with working with children before embarking on this Level 4 Foundation Degree.The course, which is validated by the University of Gloucestershire, takes place over two evenings a week and one of these evenings is delivered electronically through web based activities and webinars. In addition, there are also three innovative learning weekends.If you’re not quite sure whether you can afford the time or the money to go onto a full degree course at a University, but still want to work towards that goal, then a Foundation Degree is the option for you. By enrolling onto a Foundation Degree you will still have the opportunity to work and put what you learn into practice.All entrants must be employed (or undertaking substantial voluntary work) in the sector for the duration of the course.
