Please note that due to COVID-19, this course will initially be delivered via a blended learning approach, which may include face-to-face learning in the classroom, remote learning off-campus and digital learning. When delivery is taking place on-campus, there will be reduced student numbers and physical distancing measures in place.
This programme prepares students for a range of positions in a broad spectrum of organisations in the travel and tourism industry. Travel and tourism is an important and growing sector in Scotland and the UK, and career opportunities are wide and varied. The HND course has a heavy emphasis on customer service and a focus on the development of personal and interpersonal skills. The assessments in the awards are varied with project work, investigative activity and practical activity involved.

On successful completion of this course students may progress onto a related degree programme.
Internally there is an opportunity to progress from Year 1 onto Year 2 of the BA Heritage and Tourism Programme (an Integrated Degree Programme delivered jointly between Forth Valley College and Stirling University)
