OVERVIEW

This Non-Destructive Testing BSc (Hons) course builds upon the ideas explored during the Non-Destructive Testing FdSc to increase knowledge and skills which will help you in your current job and increase your career prospects. In order to complete the award, you will study four modules and complete a substantial project, to a total of 120 credits. The course is closely linked to the Personal Certificate of Non-Destructive Testing (PCN) through the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BiNDT).

This course is available via Distance Learning with a January intake.

Course Details

You will study advanced NDT techniques, such as corrosion analysis, thermographic testing, vibration analysis and advanced inspection techniques. An extended project is carried out as part of the course, relating to your work in NDT and focusing on your choice of topic.
