This facility will help you understand injury prevention and rehabilitation in a way that you won’t be able to get from a textbook.**What will I study?**This course is ideal for you if you’re interested in the broader area of sports medicine. You’ll learn how to diagnose injured athletes and treat them effectively. You’ll also explore the biomechanics of human movement. Physiology and functional anatomy. Over the three years you’ll spend at BNU, you’ll learn about human anatomy, health and exercise physiology, therapeutic interventions and data analysis. In your final year, you’ll also work closely with your personal tutor to dive more deeply into an area you’re passionate about to deliver your final dissertation project.Most Sports Therapists work as self-employed practitioners, so this course has been designed to combine therapy and business skills to give you the confidence and entrepreneurship you’ll need to start a small business.**What are my career prospects?**With our BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy degree, you’ll be qualified to work as a sports therapist for professional teams, clubs and private clinics.
