Communication is the process of conveying information. In today's world, there are a variety of mediums to do just that, including radio, television, publications, the internet and social media.
The School of Communication houses a comprehensive program that leads to varied careers in the communication field. The flexible programs offer the diversity to gain advanced communication skills and meet the needs of the 21st century workplace.
Communication Studies equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to develop, evaluate and critique organizational, interpersonal and public messages. Courses in this area prepare students to communicate effectively in relationships, workplaces and the broader democratic context.

You are a high school student or have completed high school or equivalent and have never enrolled in a college/university. SAT or ACT is not required for standard admission or admission scholarship consideration for all types of applicants. An official SAT or ACT score is required to be considered for direct admission into your intended major.
All undergraduate international applicants must provide proof of English proficiency by meeting the minimum score from one of the following acceptable tests. This requirement can be waived if you meet certain criteria.
