The undergraduate Communication Design program graduates effective conceptual thinkers and creative problem-solvers in the areas of Graphic Design and User-Experience Design. In both concentrations, students begin by learning to use the basic elements and principles of design and apply design thinking and design process to learn concepts, technology, image-making, color theory, typography, user analysis and client needs, wireframing and prototyping as students create wide and diverse visual means of communication.
