They work to preserve the quality and quantity of this precious resource in a particularly important need in Arizona. Students earning a Bachelor of Science in Hydrology and Atmospheric Science can choose the Environmental Hydrology and Water Resources emphasis, which focuses on the quality and quantity of various water supplies as well as how water flow affects the environment. Students learn about drought, flooding, pollution, precipitation and more. Students find placement in careers that help communities as well as conserve the environment.
