Career Outlook
The Art Education master’s program at UNT has a proven record of success by producing nearly half of the state's university-certified art educators. Our certification track prepares you to work as an art teacher at elementary-, middle- or high-school levels as well as for careers in community art programs and other educational facilities.
Our graduates from the Museum Education and the Graduate Art Museum Certificate programs intern in regional museums and go on to careers as art museum professionals.
K-12 certified teachers and professionals from arts-related fields can enhance their existing practices to become arts leaders through advanced coursework and/or can expand their career options within arts institutions.
