The Master of Science in Mathematics Education program provides certified secondary mathematics teachers with the coursework needed to teach dual-credit (high school/college) mathematics. Additionally, this degree provides college/university developmental mathematics instructors with the coursework required to teach introductory level college- and university-credit mathematics courses.

A well-qualified applicant will have the equivalent of an undergraduate degree with a major in mathematics from UNT.
English Language Proficiency: TOEFL: internet based - 79, or paper based - 550. A score of at least 6.5 is required on the IELTS.
