Our combined program in Secondary Education is designed to provide students currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Science, History, English or a related field at UNCW the opportunity to also complete a master’s degree in secondary education within a five year period (including one summer). The key feature of the program is that students take 3-6 credits of graduate coursework that will count for the student’s undergraduate and graduate program.This program is designed for students currently in the B.A. or B.S. programs in Mathematics, Science, History, English, or a related field

Applicants must have an official transcript directly from all the high schools.

English Proficiency

TOEFL: minimum of 71.

IELTS: minimum of 6.0

Duolingo English Test (DET) - minimum score of 105

Pearson PTE - minimum score 54

iTEP Academic - minimum score of 3.7. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis once they become complete: Fall - April 1; Spring - October 1.
