The Scholarships shall be available for award to students who:

  • have been successful in gaining entry into the Honours year of an undergraduate program offered by the Research School of Biology;
  • have a strong academic record;
  • have a willing and suitable supervisor who is associated with the Centre of Excellence for Plant Energy Biology.

One successful applicant will be offered a Warwick Hillier Honours Scholarship which provides a stipend of $7,000.  All other applicants will be considered for ARC Centre of Excellence in Plant Energy Biology Honours Scholarships at equal value.

The scholarships may not be deferred and must be commenced in the year as indicated on the offered letter.

    Applications for students commencing in semester 1 open 1 November and close 31 December.  Applications for students commencing in semester 2 open 1 May and close 30 June.

    Applications must include:

    • completed application form (available from the top of this page);
    • the applicant's academic record;
    • name and contact details of the applicant's identified supervisor/s; and
    • contact details for two academic referees familiar with the applicant.
