Eligible applicants for the awards shall be all full-time CCCU students who have achieved:  Outstanding sports performance and achievements in local or international competitions, proven leadership and sportsmanship; and satisfactory academic performance of current academic year.

Nominations shall be made by the coaches of CityU Sports Teams and winners of the awards shall be selected by a selection panel chaired by the Associate Director (Physical Education) of Student Development Services by the end of April each year.

If in any year no student is found to be of sufficient merit, the award will be withheld.
